Because Jesus out right said "This is my body, this is my blood", he didn't say "Take this and eat it, it is a symbol of my sacrifice and love for you, take this and drink it, blah blah symbol".
You have to know when the Bible is being literal and metaphorical.
Question: how could a piece of bread and fruit juice be the literal body of Jesus? (Can't you see that Jesus had to mean symbolically?)
I don't know about you Naz but I don't worship a piece of Wonder Bread or Saltine cracker, and I certainly do not worship a glass of Welch's grape juice.

JIA, since when you do represent me?

Anyone with common sense can see that the Pope is just some bloke who is the head of some rather large Christian sect. After all if he was chosen by God then John Paul woulnd´t have been shot would he?

No, but you represent your beliefs, and you make yourself out to be a jackass everytime you post.

The same with you, because Jesus didn't literally mean that you're a saint or that believing in Him takes you directly to Heaven, no questions asked.
And how could it really be Jesus? Because Jesus is that cool, and I'm sure you don't doubt his infinate power that he could use to make bread and wine his body and blood if he so chose.

You are wrong Naz (sorry to be the bearer of bad news but you are).
I was a literal sinner, I was literally on my way to Hell. But now I am literally righteous, literally saved, literally born again, literally on my way to Heaven, and my name is literally written in the literal Book of Life. Furthermore, Naz, Jesus literally died on a literal cross for the literal sins of the world. Jesus was literally buried in a literal tomb, and Jesus literally rose from the dead. Jesus literally ascended to Heaven and literally sat down at the right hand of His Father. Jesus is literally returning to remove and relocate His church to Heaven before the tribulation period begins. Finally, you must literally confess Jesus as Lord, and literally believe that God has raised Him from the dead in order to be literally saved from your literal sins. You must literally call on Jesus Christ for salvation from your literal sins, and literally ask Jesus Christ to save you from your literal sins if you want to go to Heaven at death (which is also literal or do you believe that death is symbolic too?). The Bible is literally given by God’s inspiration. The devil literally exists, demons literally exist, Hell literally exists, and Heaven literally exists. You Naz are literally lost without Jesus Christ, and you will literally stand before God and give account for your life. Your name must literally be written in the Lamb’s Book of Life or you will be literally cast into the literal Lake of Fire.
Do you follow what I have literally written Naz? It is the literal Truth as revealed by the literal Bible, that I literally believe (except in instances where the Bible should obviously be interpreted metaphorically or symbolically such as in the case of communion).
Oh, and I am also a literal saint based on the literal Bible.

My question was essentially rhetorical. There is not (or should I say ain't for more emphasis?) any such animal as "Transubstantiation," this is just more false, Catholic doctrine (biblically unscriptural doctrine is a common theme in the Roman Catholic Church). Furthermore, neither the concept nor word "Transubstantion" can be found in the Bible.
Explain how I make myself out to be a jackass everytime I post (anyone can name-call but can you support what you say?).

So why is everything, including Creation, literal, except the one part Jesus specifically said was literal?

I never denied that, I am Christian, after all.
That's not in the Book of Revelation, I read it, it doesn't say Jesus will come before the bad stuff, Christians have to go through the bad stuff, then if they remain faithful through the bad stuff, they'll be saved.
I never denied that, I am Christian, after all.
i.e praying?
A symbol of our mortality?
I never denied that, I am Christian, after all.
But you won't give an account to God because you're better than I am for some reason?
No, not really, because most of it was irrelevant junk that I never asked you about nor denied as being true.
So why is everything, including Creation, literal, except the one part Jesus specifically said was literal?
No, you're not.[/COLOR]
You are still literally wrong and I will no longer reply to any of your posts (literally).
