I think she's reached ecsape velocity as well just chillaxin. I'm not sure. She seemed to be high enough that her body was glowing a blue aura from all the charged particles that hit the earth from space.

She takes some electrons from Stardust body (Power Cosmic)and flings them back violently as a powerfull bolt. I don't see why she can't do that to his aura.

Thor controls the weather via magic and can magically create weather. She can absorb elemental energies and evolve. Thor is a joke to an evolved Storm. Evolved STorm is equal to the Phoenix Force.
