Not only that, but before you could (Supposedly) edit the bios themselves,
but it would first have to be approved by one of the site's moderators.
I tried to add some stuff to Adam Warlock's abilities at one point.
It listed my user name (same as KMC) as a contributor, but my changes were never added.
And now they've just gone to the "classic" handbook bios that are notoriously inaccurate.....add that to fan stupidity,
and Marvel's "Official" site is probably <<< Wiki right now in terms of credibility.
🙁
I love this new system.
According to the offical votes Odin is less powerful than Surfer.

Of course they haven't done much with Odin's page . . .

Hooray for the fans being more rational than the editors!
I've been saying that people like us are probably the foremost authorities on comic power levels
(the sane ones...if you have bias toward a character, it doesn't really count).
Not joking either. I doubt any given writer of a character that I'm familiar with could run circles around me
in terms of character knowledge, both about that particular
character and the universe in general.
And chances are it would be the other way around....and I don't
even consider myself to be as comprehensive in my knowledge as many people on this site.
I think the problem is the average person voting on these polls doesn't have a clue what each rank represents. People are just thinking "Well, Spider-man is pretty fast, so I guess I'll give a 6 in speed," with out knowing that rank 6 in speed means the character can move at the speed of light.
Marvel should really have the chart that tells what each rank translates into near each character poll somewhere.

Er yeah that as well.

It could be true, but I was just reading up on what the handbook actually goes through, don't know if you guys read this but, look at the "how do you go about writing each profile" section.
http://www.marvel.com/universe/OHOTMU:FAQ
It seems they actually go through the whole lot, a whole bunch of marvel editors checking, and rechecking it, making corrections where needed, they actually look at all of a characters appearances, I mean it seems they go through a whole lot.
don't get me wrong, some s*** just dont make sense, my main problem is the speed, everything else I can live with, but what the hell is going on with the speed, its like..
"Wrap Speed, Wrap Speed for everybody, come one come all, Come get your Wrap speed"
But I guess what I mean is, the marvel editors go through a whole lot, I mean these guys run marvel.
At what point do/can we start to accept it?
