Selene vs Apocalypse

If you have a constant need to regenerate and swap bodies, you are NOT immortal. But I was suppose that's been retconned, in the recent x-men series. Seeing as he can regenerate from a drop of blood now.

Selene and Apocalypse are both low heralds.

Both Apocalypse and Selene have the potential to live forever I guess, but considering they both need some sort of 'sustenance' to say alive - neither of them are immortal.

It's somewhat unclear with Apocalypse. He was in fact alive for centuries before enhancing himself with Celestial technology.

His creator probably intended for him to be immortal, and then Apoc was buttraped.

Apocalypse's essence was immortal, as was his original body. And frankly, having a dicussion with Apoc vs. anybody without Apoc being in his original body is BS.

the shadow-form is tricky, but...the magic thing isn't as bad as some people think. Recall that he was able to beat Loki and trap him with Celestial tech. And what is Apocalypse's body, if not an assload of celestial tech. Not to mention, Apocalypse has far greater stamina. And has shown the ability to drain energy and other things as well. So, Selene is fighting a battle against the clock.

and the Dracula thing was bad writing. Apocalypse easily trounced Dracula the last time they fought. And that time, he was weakened from being awakened too early.

How many times have they fought?

Apocalypse hit Loki in the face, Caliban slashed him, then they managed to trick him into a device, which he broke out of easily.

I'd just like to note that the first person to bring up "the table" was someone decidedly pro-Apocalypse. Strawman ftw. Martyr complex ftw. 313

Selene was supposedly powerful enough to transform the entire Earth with the Master Spell...

🤨 Absorbing Cyclops' optic concussive force blasts doesn't equate to being able to drain life from people.

Loki tried to break free to no avail until he hit one of the balls generating the energy, which shut it down.

she was powerful enough to wipe out all the externals. the full extent of her magic is unknown, but what she HAS shown would give apoc fits. apoc has physical versatility, she has that as well PLUS high-level magic.
