unless Reed can think of a way really quick to prevent SS exploiting Superman's weaknesses...then SS wins. If SS can't exploit Superman's weaknesses....then Supes' can do this by himself.

No PIS...Supes can probably dodge most of Surfer's blasts...and transmuting DNA...well...that would be a problem...that's where Reed has to come in for the protection.

If Reed could get it down to just a slugfest or so....Supes would rock Surfer every day of the week.

The Surfer can take Superman without exploiting his weaknesses. It wouldn't be a stomp of a fight, but Norrin need not use Red Sun Radiation nor Kryptonite to win.

Surfer couldn't take away Superman's powers...he can exploit his weaknesses...and depower Superman. Kind of like Magneto fighting Kurse, i would say...SS can just drain Superman. Only way for Supes to really win is if it was merely a slugfest.

Nah...Surfer couldn't alter Superman's form...as far as I know.

Surfer, close but I think Surfer's insane speed and power combination should do it.

1. take out Superman - grab, transmute Surfer's body to Kryptonite, move off to nearest black hole, chuck in a near dead Superman

2. cosmic blast the detritus (the FF) from a planet away, with enough PC to smash a planet.

3. dive into the black hole and grab Superman.

4. amp up (if necessary) with Power Cosmic and pummel Superman.

yeah...but isn't Supes' becoming more immune to Kryptonite now. I know that Superman flew through a red sun...and was still powerful enough to take out SBP.

SS would have to work harder than that.

The Silver Surfer wields the "Power Cosmic," absorbing and manipulating the universe's cosmic energy, and is almost totally indestructible. He can navigate through space, hyperspace, and dimensional barriers, and he can fly at near-limitless speeds on his board, entering hyperspace when he exceeds light speed.[39] He has even proven capable of time travel on occasion.[40] The Surfer, who sustains himself by converting matter into energy, does not require food, drink, air, or sleep. He is immune to extreme temperatures and most radiation, and he can survive in vacuum environments such as outer space and hyperspace. It moves in response to his thoughts even when he is not in physical contact with it.[41] The board is almost totally indestructible, but on those rare occasions when it is damaged or destroyed, the Surfer is able to repair or even re-create it.[20] The Surfer can attack opponents remotely by directing the board against them, and the board is capable of absorbing and imprisoning other beings, at least temporarily.[43]

As mentioned above, when Galactus exiled the Surfer to Earth, his means of imprisonment was linked to the board. When Surfer and the Fantastic Four realized this, Surfer put it to the test by leaving the board planet-side and entering space in the Four's spacecraft. Once he was free of Earth, the Surfer remotely converted the board to energy, recalled it to him, and reformed it in space

if he goes by how he is writen he could do alot of damage to any one

yep, it would be hard work but, I'm just using the kryptonite self-transmutation as an example of what he could do.

Surfer is an energy and matter manipulator on a global scale (at the very least), so there's other things he might to.

if, and I'm not really sure about this, he can transmute Superman, then game over there and then.

he can definitely blast superman with enough energies to knock him out - busting planets is something Surfer does effortlessly (literally on a whim) and his raw strength is just unkown (but his durability must be well up there - deep space, hyperspace, blackholes, event horizons...).
