The Cloud was great, I agree with that I thought he was the Cloud but I agree with the hoster that he was indeed inside the Cloud in his ship.
I don't know if you noticed it but in the opening when one of the "tornadoes" pulls back you can clearly see some metal ore something like that, which doesn't speak for him being the Cloud, I also didn't think Galactus died the lost his ship but he survived himself. (I mean SS survived the explosion why shouldn't Galactus)

I actually think it was quiet good. Thats your openion and you are allowed to have that, I on the other hand think that the Galactus the marvel ultimate alliance made was quiet good, such a Galactus would in a movie with the right special effects get awesome, and nothing like cartoony.
Why is this such a big deal?
He's obviously IN the cloud.
Imagine never reading a F4 comic, and then seeing the "almighty planet eater" wearing a ridiculous pink and purple triangle helmet?
Marvel and DC movies aren't meant for regular comic readers, but they do however give "easter eggs" to those that do read comics - and this is one of them.

The cloud was pretty cool but there's no doubt in my mind they could have made Galactus work if they showed him. The idea of a transformers movie sounds kinda stupid but from what I've seen of the trailers, the characters are looking really good.. It just depends on the effort the production's willing to put into it
