hulk actually kicked the shit out of him, and was LEGITIMATELY drained (unsuccessfully) in the same fight. but of coarse, some comment about it means it's true regardless of it not happening on panel.
another hilarious thing about thor "getting drained by red hulk": if he was drained, how did thor have him on the ropes soon after? i mean, if he saps your power you lose it and get weaker, not stronger immediately

red hulk draining OF thor didn't occur on-panel, and even if he could do it without actually attempting to drain thor (when he does it you can tell), there were no benefits gained from it..... unless a guy draining off odin force should get knocked out by savage hulk after doing it.
...also.... red hulk drains radiation, not magic, especially odin's magic.

draining odin force or even mjolnir's power is a huge leap that really has no on-panel showing, just a cover story after the damage was done. when thor was hulked out he said red hulk stopped thor once, and then proceeded to get his revenge....looks like red hulk missed his second opportunity to drain thor and stop himself from getting his ass beat.

Loeb said either right before or after the battle that if you payed attention you'd notice that something else was going on that we would understand in the near future.
You think Loeb cared that Thor had a portion of the Odin Force? Whether Thor was amped or at classic levels, the fights wouldn't have gone any differently.
There wasn't some conspiracy to appease Thor fans. I also doubt that Marvel cares that much about what Thor fans think based on some of the shit they've printed in the last decade.
