Here is something I like, it's by a band called Dragon Ash, it's sort of J-rock with a hip-hop edge. The guys also made their own version of Cherub Rock and Siva by The Pumpkins, they sound nothing like the originals though.

You heard their latest 2 albums?... I swear they've turned Spanish now.

I haven't actually listened to them much in the past few years, to be honest, but I liked them a lot when I was about 16. One of my friends liked them a lot and got me into them.

(import CDs are too expensive)

BTW, I saw Melt Banana the other night when they opened for Tool. They were really good. I think I need to try checking out more of their music.

Jeru Da Damaja- Come Clean

I don't gang bang or shoot out bang bang
The relentless lyrics the only dope I slang
I'm a true master you can check my credentials
Cuz I choose to use my infinite potentials

Anyone unfamiliar with that song is unfamiliar with hip-hop, period. One of the best (and probably THE most underrated) MCs of all time over one of the greatest beats of all time.

Dragon Ash in their current state, same as before but now spanish:

Black Bonzo from Sweden. Think Early 70's Progressive movement in the 2000's. Lady of The Light is the Album I own (Their First), and I think they just released a new one. Think Uriah Heep with traces of Queen, Deep Purple, or Yes Etc. Give em a listen on Itunes or something.
