Captain America handing commanding his troops to stand down after they had won was cool and the right thing to do IMO (he should have done it earlier).

Asterix first appeared in 1959, Captain America's first appearance was in 1941 (18 years before). So therefore if anything, Asterix has Captain America style, also.. Asterix pwns.

I dont like wings on helmets or heads in general, theyre just there, being unneccesary and ugly.

Batman has more of the "cool" factor - Dark Knight,better outfit,nicer toys.

Cap has more of the "glory" factor - Stars and stripes,WWII vet,made in the U.S.A.

Batman is cooler.

i like batman, but cap is cool, but umm im going to have to say batman.

Batman has that 'anti-hero' thing going for him.

The 'bad guy' is always cooler. Hence Wolverine's popularity. 😬.

Cap is cool ....but if he is a souped up Infiniti G35 then Batman is a Ferrari Enzo.

The two are not comparable on the coolness scale ....Batman wins the coolness contest in terms of attitude, costume, gadgets and MO. Easily.

Not to say Cap is not cool (he is), but it would be comparing a G35 to a Ferrari.

They're different kind of heroes.

If you needed an insane prep scheme, a first rate brain, a way to understand the nature of evil, and tactician for a huge battle, I'd take the Bat.

If you needed a speech, inspiration, a front line commander, a symbol, a man who unites people by his very presence, then I'd only go to Captain America.

He went from an aspiring comic book artist of a weakling (Come on, people who like comics = cool points) into the single most patriotic man alive, a legend. Thor and Hercules show him more respect than anybody else, that's freaking awesome IMO.
