At least the topic of this thread has good advice contained there in. All Rape victims SHOULD seek therapy.

Especially if the trauma of said rape has been impeding on your ability to function with normalcy in society.

all and all rape sucks really bad. It hurts, it's humiliating and well...unless your into that thing its just not fun. So yeah victims should seek help. Wether its a psychologist/psychiatrist or your bishop/priest/pastor/rabbi etc....

So, anyone who questions the status quo is a troll? I think most of the people who were so offended by my honest question, possibly you included, are slightly brainwashed.

The offense with me mostly lied in where you were showing you think that women with PTSD caused by rape should 'just get over it' But you really should take into account that someone that's just gone through such things cant 'just get over' something that has cut them to the core. It takes time and acceptance of the trauma and help from those that care for the victim to speed on that acceptance for them to finally live their life with normalcy.

I mean you wouldn't tell a Vietnam vet with PTSD to 'just get over' what he saw that gave him PTSD and flashbacks and stuff in the first place.

some rape victims don't get over it because they get STD's. that's enough to haunt and scar you the rest of your life.
