I wasted my entire week.
A little bit over 7 days ago, I purchased a copy of my first ever Final Fantasy Game: Final Fantasy X. I put it in, and was intrigued. After about 3 hours, the plot started to unfold. I was hooked. I played for about 30 hours this week, and if I didn't have work, I'd have probably gotten that hour total up to 50.
I'm so ashamed of myself...

I played the game as well and it is very good and it's perfectly normal for Gamers to spend so much time on a game.
Especially RPG's which are relatively long.

I have this Summer Vacation layed before me and I can go a week and not play my game once and I feel guilty that I'm waisting so much time that could be put into game playing.
As a matter of fact, I'm feeling guilty ahora mismo.
I would say that this thread is kind of Not IN The Right Place, but you're not really focusing on the game but the fact that you feel ashamed for playing any game so much.
Plus Lana would close it anyway if you put it in the Game Forum, so it's better off here anyway where it'll quickly disappear into oblivion.

Dude you're no way half as pathetic as me. I put as much time in football manager games, and my cousin plays those Flight Simulator games 24/7.
BTW, I liked FFX as well. I don't own it, I borrowed it from a friend for a couple of days. Only played one day though, but during that day I had played about 12 hours.
