Bible translations are all but subjective, who's to really say who's 100% correct? Buy yea, it's safe to say, his work has many holes.

I meant specifically words and not events. For instance, he claims "Nephlim" is defines as "Those who have fallen", and uses it as evidence to support his Extra Terrestrial theory. In reality the word "Nephlim" means those who have fallen spiritually.

If you read my previous post you would know that what i meant was the concept of God came from intervention from Aliens. I just wanted a thread that would spark interest for a debate. I guess i was successful.

I doubt it. . .

You are right.Everything is interpretation. Religions are Interpretations. Even Buddhism Have different sects with different interpretations. Theory's are interpretations of data.

You only address certain points. As far as the planetary idea , The point was they new about planets that we didn't discover until the 1800's and later. This isn't interpretation these are pictographs showing a Sun in the center with planets revolving around it. How did they know this?

I think you are selling these Astronauts short. They had many Trip's to space and I am sure that they could distinguish a self propelled object from ice falling of the ship. What would they have to gain by coming out with these claims?

And they are debating weather the structures off the coast of India are man made or not but ,Neither side has proved definitively. I shouldn't have stated that as fact, but What does that have to do with the Structure in Thailand, Mesoamerica,North Africa, Mesopotamia,Canary Islands all having Identical structures springing up at the same time.

I am shocked at your reaction Brother Shakya. Although you didn't call me stupid or moronic,I am curious as to which part of my statement was fantasy Although I do appreciate how passionate you are in your convictions. 😄

I simply think you are jumped to a conclusion that is more complicated then other answers. I don’t know, is the point were I start. I stay there until I find something compelling. However, I do not glom onto this new idea when other information comes along. I don’t spend much of my time studying this topic. I have seen a show here or a show there on the History or Discovery Channel. I realize that the information has been predigested for me, and therefore is subject to someone else’s interpretation. Therefore, I also try to keep up by reading more direct information like science journals, but there is only so much time in my life, and I am way behind on reading. So, what do I do? I have to use reason.

In a universe, like the one we live in, there are a limited number of advanced cutlers that are capable of space travel. I know that there is at least one, and that one (us) is very limited. Also, the vastness of space and the limitations of the speed of light makes the possibility of interstellar cultures very small. To have more then one of these cultures in this galaxy is remote. The impact of a culture that is millions of years ahead of us in technology would be far more drastic then a few religious references and unexplained knowledge. Every time in human history that an advanced culture has interacted with a primitive culture, the result is a devastation of the primitive culture. It is more reasonable to believe that if aliens had visited the Earth in the past, the human race would not exist now.
