so..what is he doing there??trying to turn him into a Black Lantern??damn..i finally thought that he's dead and never coming back which makes me happy..and now they bringing him back 🙁

Maybe the whole point in killing him/them was just a reason to use them in B.N. I wouldve liked for them to use other DC characters at least as possible. At least, earth based ones.

This is a DC wide event, i think. Apparently Robinson (yeuch) is writing a Blackest Night: Superman tie in...

Ive been looking forward to this event for a while. I hopethey dont FK it up with all the earth characters.

he's shit, so, yes.

i know robinson has a good reputation, but his superman is poor, imo.

Yat can change a red star to a yellow one but can't cure his lead poisoning. Makes sense.

That would make sense except for the who "they never killed him in the first place" problem. Though, frankly, that does nothing but raise additional questions.

Biological matter manip is frequently treated as different from non-biological matter manip. But yes, it's still absurd.

I haven't seen a Green Lantern perform biological manipulation since the Silver Age. I honestly don't think they can do it anymore. Does anyone have an example of it?

But changing the color of a star would easily be within the limits of the Ion power, at least the way Kyle used to use it.

if he really is changing the color of the star to yellow..Mongul and his SC gonna have some big problem holding those Daxamites..

Kyle and Kilowog do it around the time they fight Onimar Zynn.

Near the end of Kyle's GL run, he changed his own DNA. Then again, Kyle is awesome and Yat is, well, yeah.

That and the fact that Yat needs permission to access the willpower whale (neat way of explaining away his poor showings since he's only functionally a normal GL and a near rookie at that) are both ridiculous plot devices.
