true but before john stewart put his poisned hands on it, the darkstars lasted for millenia too. and they were pretty lethal. in fact, becuz the controllers just wanted to keep other sentients out of thier realm they pretty much just gave them free reign to do whatever the f **** they wanted although most of them were inherently good guys and didnt take unnecessary advantage of this freedom.
with the GLC other than dealing with one of thier own turning on them, some solitary, and powerful foe attacking OA, or swooping in to other planets to quell civil wars or alien invasions..they have never fought in any "us vs them" kind of wars b4. when you're a soldier fighting in a war using lethal force isnt condsidered murder, so i dont see what the big deal is...it just makes little sense to have the conflict be so one sided..at least for now, cuz we know at the end of the day the GLC is gonna overcome, but still.......

Well,You have to remember that the Challengers are travelling through a multiverse,so it could always be an alternate rayner.(inspite of how sucky that would be)
Also, Kyle is going to be a regular in the GLC book again so we get more Guy/Kyle fun. 😄

No, the book was showing Kyle after the events of GL #26 where the Sin Corps storyline ends. Odd thing is Kyle is back to a power ring but they still called him Ion.
I think him being called Ion may not be entirely because of the power he contains inside him. It may just be the name he goes by.

23 was pretty good. But what I was kinda worried about was that this was going to be turned into an Earth based thing, rather than just focusing on the GLC. Between Guy Gardner's "we need to go to Earth and get backup" and (spoiler): the Sinestro Corp's attack on Earth (end spoiler) I'm worried that it's going to be turned into Earth saving the universe again.
overall though, what a great issue.
