yeah, he's the big one...
though honestly, if the heroes (as i said to someone already) get their fingers out and step up to the plate, they can do just as much damage as the majority of sinestro's corps...

But, the thing is, it would take pretty much ALL DC Earth has (even with the Corps backing them) just to take out the Sinestro Corps themselves - MINUS antimonitor.
So what are they gonna do when every big gun they had is dead - or at least beaten and broken, and the Antimonitor is standing there, chilling like "Uhhh....guys? Did you forget something?"

see, thats where i don't agree, and you'll be cursing me if it happens and i defend them... 😛
and i'd be very surprised if the gl corps dont show up as a late cavalry charge...
my prediction: hal (or kyle, or ganthet) becomes ion, and mogo travels to earth, and that, combined with the remaining heroes, and kyle freeing himself and banishing parallax (somehow), they beat the AM...

I'm actually kinda predicting that Sodam will become the new torch bearer.
I mean, so far, yeah, he's a total rook, but he's been totally unscathed. It seems he has a preternatural skill with his ring. Maybe that's just my observation.
And, hell, he's supposed to be the 'ultimate lantern' for a reason, right?
And, when it was said that half the 'prophecy' comes true - maybe it didn't mean Mogo dying or Sodam dying...
Maybe it just meant that Sodam'd be hailed as the Ultimate Lantern?
Anywho, I dunno. I just don't see them being able to beat the entire sinestro corps without some kinda plot device. Like, maybe the Corps Guardians come out of hiding and lend a hand - maybe that's one of the ten new laws.

maybe the Anti-monitor just isn't as powerful as he used to be. He got blinded by a GL, at least temporarily... and in the Crisis, he got his ass handed to him by super girl before he got as powerful as he was going to get. he could just be at his weakest right now, and more easily defeated than we're expecting.
