I drove so far on empty once, I actually ran out of gas while driving uphill on a freeway off ramp. I got so lucky, I had enough momentum to make it to the top of the hill where I actually had to jump out and push while holding the steering wheel just enough to make it over, then it was all down hill from there right into a gas station 50 yards away. A cop pulled up right behind me as well as soon as he saw me jump out and push, when he saw I had it under control he took off, which was good because I drank a few beers that night and no I'm not proud of that. 😬

I seldom drive my car but seem to fill it up once a week. I only use it once a week, just to go to jujitsu. Strange thing is it's always on empty and needs filling up again...
