And Superman not using his speed wouldn't be putting Hulk down for the count at all. It's not hard to understand. Thanos can beat Superman. It's not that hard to see when he can beat Surfer something Superman isn't going to be doing.

Um, Superman can beat Surfer. And Superman can beat Thanos. Especially if Precrisis continues to look like it's canon again.
