Im fairly sure that the Commies had a tad worse kill/casualty ratio in their operation F**kup. a.k.a "The Winterwar" than the Empire had against Ewoks.

Now why was that? Because stalin went Vader and strangled his most competent Generals just before deciding to invade some Baltic states.

And I still claim that if you watch the movies closely, the slogan "My friend" Palpatine practises tends to be used in places where "Comrade" would be appropriate as well. Oh the allegory...
