Science doesn't present it's findings as absolute facts, it's a series of trial and error to determine the truth of how the world around us operates.

It's falsifiable, which is what makes it science. Religion is not falsifiable, basically.

Bible Thumpers never change their beliefs even when proven wrong, they are thickheaded and don't accept change.
Read up about Buddhism, Islam, Juddism, Scientology, Mormonism, Jehovah's Witnesses. All of these religions are presented as facts as well, though they are all drastically different...which one is correct? Answer, none of them.
