Mneh, no one really enforces that here, unless you start a thread specifically for that purpose.

And that's almost exactly what I was thinking of right there.

Or if we're going to have many players in it, we could just do what Ush did with the Lord of the Rings role play or the Star Wars role play, except in the Hosted Role Playing sections. He has several topics explaining everything.

I do not even remember the adress. Anyway, I do not think we'd be going with that forum in that case. Besides, it's been tried before. Seperate sites for a forum has a tendency of fading in interest. Not many people bare to go trough the whole 'visit different sites' matter just to RP. They want it simple. Everything at one place.

Not that I am one of those people. Nor do I accuse any of you for being such 😛

Hmm! I'm not quite sure. A seperate side would reduce the numbers of interested people quite a lot, wouldnt it? Obviously you guys would come, but wouldnt that make us rather few participants? I mean, too few to fill an entire forum by ourselves?

It just depend on the number of Characters we each have, I have played a RPG where we where five and that worked out fine.

The idea is excellent. I just fear that it wouldnt last. The whole 'invitational only' is one of many attractive aspects of the idea, along with the liberty of room and the ability to moderate it efficiently. I am just afraid, to bring up something Becci brought up, that in time would people grow tired of visiting several forums and just pick the lesser of two evils and return to KMC, leaving the poor empire crumbling into ruins.

I get what you're saying, I think... Why bother exerting the effort to create a grand new forum when people will, as Becci and I have seen countless times, eventually migrate back here, right? It makes quite a bit of sense, really. 🙂

Torn between options, my dear. Besides, I havent decided the plot yet. I'm working on it (Still on planning stage) 😛 I want something that would last (Although I shouldnt expect too much. I personally have never been part of a roleplay that has been completed)

I thought you already had that worked up, didn't you post something about it previously (ore was it becci...) It will last if one person with 5 characters just suddenly drop out 😉 Isn't the point with a RP to have it continue well infinitely... (btw if you have time a answer in hero high 2)

Some RP's has no ending, while other has it created trough time. If evil is vanquished, or good is, then most RP's has served their purpose and reached the end.

I did earlier post a structure of a plot, but that was with absolutely no details. It was only the foundation on which I would build everything. The general idea. I still have no faction names, no actual background, no world and no red line which the roleplayers can follow 😛
