Every warrior froze as the titan seized up and began jerking about, when from over the sound systems Styx's "Mr. Roboto" began blasting out over the battlefield as the titan itself began rampaging across the canyon floor. The fighting resumed as quickly as it had halted, the loyalists fighting in a last ditch effort to flee from being caught underfoot of the former Imperial controlled titan. The men of the Red Rivers could barely aim their lasguns proper as we all roared with laughter through the whole ordeal. Even still, as the battle drew to a close, we finally lost it and gripped our sides in laughter as the titan finally collapsed onto its back and went critical after Khârn cleared the scene. As he came back up to us I raised my arm for a high five, which he gladly obliged and broke every bone in my hand.
As he looked back over the smoking husk and ruined corpses strewn about the canyon I asked him what caused him to lose his balance, and he looked down at me and said, "I WAS TRYING TO GET IT TO BREAK DANCE BUT IT HAD NO SOUL."

1. The Rp has a large fanbase based on how long it has been around.
2. The concept is interesting.
3. The continuous plot builds up and adds more to the depth of the characters
4. Organization
5. It always has had a place here for many Unhosted RPers who are interested in RPs like that.

this is quite honestly the best response anyone has given me about it, when i asked. i was looking at it from the point of being outside and looking in and going..
"...nothings happening? wait. they're high school kids rp-ing as high school kids? it seems to be focused around character interaction. and now the main driving forces cant post on it. O_o"
it makes sense why people rp in there, but i cant get why its the most popular. it doesnt seem that fun to be involved in, ya know?
Well, many essential RPers to the RP are without internet so they haven't been able to post. It's not so hard to jump into the previous storyline and current storyline, and try to relate to it with your character, hence why so many new members want to join. It's fun and simple.
Basic: A School that takes in gifted students with superhuman abilities of different kinds, with various teachers who are expreienced not only in the field they are capable of, but have the ability to teach (Teachers also play a climatic role to the plot. in fact, I find them to be the most interesting ones a long with the staff)
The school has gone through so much history and renovation. Currently, the school is now controlled by government interest, meaning all graduates are automatically recruited to their special armies.
It's a bit interesting. I took a crack at it and I got hooked. But it's most likely sense of taste in RP's. I can't see what's so fun about FPS based RP to be completely honest. Well, that's because FPS games are my least favorite type of games. Vampire/werewolve RPs, traditional fantasy RP's, and unoriginal RP's (based on an existing series) are also a few genres that I am not interested in at all.
yeah,the halo rp idea is a first for me, and im psyched about it because ive read the books and know alot of the mythos to it. but i come from the type of rp where the player has ALOT of freedom to create their own character. used to see dbz type saiyan warriors with monks, dragons, elves, robots, angels.. whatever really.. there wasnt ever any sort of storyline laid down, it was just a castle where everyone would gather to. and eventually all these different types of beings formed a small group, and had wars, relationships, quests, jobs, and randomness.
some of us used to write stories based on our chars, and it only added to plot developement. when it got dull, someone DID something. sometimes i really miss it. and new people came in, sometimes we got more things to do such as helping them, or destroying them, or folding them into the group.
also used to branch off to other rp's. funniest thing ever. have a few of us "infiltrate" clans or guilds that were having rivalries. and sway their battle patterns to clash more and more. and then bet on the outcomes of the battles. i miss that castle. was never dull.
