His arrogance was true arrogance. He was right, others were not. He could not tollerate his opinion to be less true than that of another, which is why my respect for the man ceased. Tollerance and respect are worth far more than experience and knowledge, a philosophy he didn't share.

Heh. Maybe. I do at work sometimes, too.
But I've been here since I was a teenager and I'm now going to be 25 in just over a month, so sometimes I'm like "...damnit". And at work we have a couple of temps that are just out of high school so I tease them for being so young and always call them 'kid' 😛
Also most of the minions in my forums are a lot younger than I am.

I've seen bits of some of your past RP's (in fact, it was one of yours that got me to join this site!) too bad it was dead when I got here >.> but I guess thats because I wasn't here! Once I join, an RP instantly becomes 10x better, and with a 10x better RP increased 10x better then that! its like... a 20x better! That's 5x cooler then usual lol.

Where is the fun in acting old, mean, and boring on a community forum. Express yourself, let your enjoyment take hold and push yourself further then you could in the boundaries of everyday life. I express myself more online then irl but that's just because half the stuff I can do on here, I can't really do. Like FLY! lmao

I think it's more a matter of not acting young than acting old. I'm simply me, and that works for me. I have a good time.

Yeah. Frankly, acting like an immature teenager is generally not very appealing to me anymore; I'm not a kid, and acting like one lost its fun a few years ago. That doesn't mean I can't be silly and ridiculous with the best of them, just that sheer childishness gets tiresome pretty fast.

Why is it that it's either A or B? Just because you don't act "youthful and silly" all the time it doesn't mean you are "old, mean and boring". I have no problems expressing myself or being silly when I feel like it, but I don't need to overdo it just for the sake of appearing silly (or youthful).
I think that you should let yourself enjoy the freedom of being whatever you want to be. Though I think that if you act selfish, mean, and boring online then you'll get a lot of glares.
Besides, there is a difference between acting free and acting childish, for example.. I'll smile and state my opinion but I won't capitalize all letters and start on a random rant about why people need to do something.
