Well to be honest I was gone for a few years. Lol. But now that I have a desk job again I have found myself returning. It would be amazing to get more people again for the RPs. ^.^

Nice rant. I agree with you on that one. This place used to be packed to the T with RPGs going on. I didn't know what to except to see when I came back but it seems to be the same as when I left it which is kind of sad.

But on a lighter note, would anyone be up for a noir type RPG?

And what RPGs here are still active?

Well, we have:

~ Teen Titans RP that may or may not be on hiatus.
~ .hack/Reboot that I think used to be an anime.
~ And this place where many of us are reminiscing about the good ol' days.

And what do you have in mind for a Noir RPG?

We have the Teen Titan rp that has been seeing some activity until recently though.

Also a Dot Hack rp is starting up though a few takers, namely myself, are having trouble grasping it since we, Or rather I, have not played the games or remember playing them and have fragments of the anime.

Other then that I wouldnt know ^.^

Well it's not a full on noir thing going. Elements of 1984 are included as well as real life events such as Jim Jones and the Peoples' Temple. Basically a cult deprogammer deal.

Anywho, I thought it'd be a cool idea to have a story in which you're off to that communist city in South America to try and save a group of people from the clutches of big brother and deprogram them and bring them back into normal society.
