So your saying you would rather have our troops die so they don't take anyone elses life? Cause thats pretty much what you are saying.
Without an army we this country wouldn't be here. WE. HAVE. TO. TAKE. LIVES.
It's human nature to want to kill. It's above and beyond to do something to stop those people. Even if it means taking their lives in the process
No, it is in fact not in the human nature to kill. It has grown into us as evulotionary we were actually vegetarians before we got the taste of meat. Which means we learnt to kill because of selfish reasons. It evolved from that and now humanity consider murder no big deal in the eyes of most people. The difference of one person to another makes the first person a lot of times justified to take the lives of another.
'The only way' is always used to justify the destruction of lives. As you sign up to the army, you sign a contract that has gives you the right to kill another human. In the heat of the fire, the goverment does not care if you could spare or foe or not. A bullet in the head is just as much allowed as a bullet in the arm or the leg. A sniper can end a battle without ending life, yet he eliminate his target. He is justified to do this, because he is part of a greater power that does legal murders.
Have you ever seen a war? I think not. When you shoot someone in the arm, they're not going to just give up. It doesn't work that way. We are a self preserving race and, I can assure you they will fight until you kill them.
And there is no evolution of the human race. It has all been adaption for SURVIVAL
Adapting for survival is everywhere, but you do not see all animals kill eachother just because of that. I have not seen a war with my own eyes, but I follow news and I am quite bright. I know it is not as simple as just put an bullet in their arm, but my point is that you could stand before the option and spare his life, but no one would care if you put it in his head instead. Other than his family and friends. Your goverment and employees does not care, that is for sure.
As a soldier you have the right to kill. That right should not exist.
We have the right to kill but we do NOT exercize it until we absolutely have to.
An example of this is how our army pretty much is based on, "Do not fire until you are fired upon. So basically.. anyone a soldier kills, it's their fault for firing on them.
My cousin is currently serving a tour in Iraq and one of his friends is being court martialed for firing on an enemy force before they fired at them.
Don't even act like you know anything about war. You can watch the news, movies, read commentaries, etc. I get a direct link through my cousin to just how it is down there and I still don't have basic grasp of the living hell his is put in daily.
I'm not judging you! FOR SOMEONE TO JUDGE SOMEONE ELSE THEY HAVE TO HAVE AT LEAST A BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF THE PERSON ON THE SUBJECT!
No, you don't know the HELL of war. You can know war but you can't know t like the soliders. Don't say what is and isn't justified until you are stuck in the same position as they are. I guarantee that if you were in a war, you WOULD pull the trigger.
Oh and NATO is useless. They pulled out of Operation Irene so I wouldn't brag about having friends in that group. 😐
You are talking like you know about war, but if I do not know about it and still have friends in the army, what makes you so different? Because you are from USA? ermm
USA is not the center of the world, you know.
All military units are useless.
NATO may not be as good as most other groups, but they have been in wars just as much. Death as death, no matter who does it or where.
And no. Judging someone is when you claim to know something about the person at matter that you have no idea about. You said that I should not even act like I know anything about war and then go on about how you get a direct link. I have known people in the army and you act like that does not matter at all as much as it does to you and your cousin.
I talk like I know about war because I am directly quoting what my cousin is telling me to say. Honestly I don't know as much as I should and really no one can. I never claimed to know more about war because where I am from. Technically I am originally from Russia. I'm even still a registered citizen in Russia. So don't act like you know me either.
Yeah that's easy for you to say. This whole country wouldn't even be here without the military.
The onl reason you even think they are useless is because Sweden (ironically the most peaceful are known.) has no need for an army. Both of our opinion are biased you realize.
I am not acting anything like that. I asked a question, for crying out loud. That is as far from thinking I know you as it can possibly be ermm
My opinion about war and killing has nothing to do with me being from Sweden.
And if you did not know it, we have troops in war-situated countries. Swedish soldiers too, die out there and is put under firefights.
As for Sweden as a country. We are neutral, but we are far from peaceful. If we were peaceful, me as a woman would dare to be out on the streets at 21.00 and later without having to constantly look over my shoulder in fear.
STOP RIGHT THERE, B!TCH.
What's the point of this anyway? Who the hell cares if you live in Russia, or if your country legalizes underage sex, or your opinions for that matter? Nobody, that's who. And for the record, Luxembourg is full of tree people. In fact, discussions pertaining to countries and how one country is better or more peaceful than America, or any other country, are stupid and inane. Actually, if that's the case, then Antarctica and India are better than all of your countries.
