True. Samus Aran is a very powerful character. In fact she's pretty much overpowered.

Lets see...2 dozen energy cells to power her suit. The arm-canon with all it's different energy blasts. The drill-cannon. The energy whip. Etc. I don't really need to go on.

She's extremely powerful. Not to mention her technology is far superior to that of the Master Chief and a host of other VG characters.

I love Samus too, but she really is absurdly powerful when you think about it.

Because the Scarab Gun is not even a real weapon we have no idea how strong it actually is other then the fact that it kills the Covanent easily. But then again so does the pistol.

Ryu still takes this 9/10
