His claws can cut through anything and bypass hardness completely because of that.
The only way that you could hurt him is if you took away his invunerability with a magic spell like Thor did . Or us a magically enhanced blade.
Wolverine slash and cut at juggernaut all day it would'nt do him any good.

It doesn't matter how invulnerable you are. His claws bypass that because they have double sharpness from the adamantium and the fact that they've been shapened.
Plus he has above human strength and a healing factor.

Jugs can be hurt and/or cut, but it's usually glossed over that he has a healing factor in ADDITION to being nigh-indestructible, AND a force field.
See the early issues of X-force where shatterstar managed to cut him (with hybrid magic blades) but he healed up in a couple of seconds.
Classic Jugs wins this easily. He's massively stronger, has a better healing factor, and is inexhaustible. Can wolverine (even a million?) keep fighting for weeks, days, months, or years without stopping to rest or eat?
hell, jugs could just keep them busy until the wolverines all starve to death.

You must be new to comics. Or at least to wolverine.
Several panels and officials bios have stated that wolverine claws can cut through almost any surface, provided he has the strength to wield them through. Now it has been shown several times instances where wolverine wasn't strong enough to cut through things. The most infamous is Colossus. Not only couldn't he cut through him, he couldn't even put a single scratch on him. And Classic Juggs is infinitely more durable than Colossus.
