CSSuperman has all the powers of the PreCrisis LegionOfSuperheroes.
He can do anything he wants and is stronger, faster and more durable than anyone there. Plus he outnumbers them and is much smarter.
Composite Superman was a damn nightmare for just about anyone. The combined super-strength, invulnerability, and super-speed of a pre-crisis Kryptonian, Daxamite and Ultra Boy, plus a whole host of other powers - telepathy, Brainiac level intelligence, phasing, matter transmutation, magnetic powers, gravity powers, energy manipulation, invisibility, shape-shifting, size-shifting (both ways), flight, and the list goes on. He made Martian Manhunter look un-versatile. He was easily able to defeat PC Superman with his physical strength alone.
On top of all that he had Triplicate Girl's power to divide into 3 beings each with all the powers of the original. So he really could take on team 1 one-on-one by himself.
With his massive super-strength, Colossal Boy's giant size, and Matter-Eating Lad's ability to consume basically anything, CSM could just about pick his opponents up and eat them!
IMO the only possible chance team 1 has is somehow surviving until CSM's powers run out after the time limit (assuming he has this limit here). If this is the smarter CSM who appeared later, I don't think he will let this happen.
