Thor has to absorb? And seeing as Thor swings his hammer and flies at FTL speeds, he should be able to get in the first strike.
Besides, Thor has already absorbed people's life force and a blast that would take out 1/5 of the Universe. What keeps him from absorbing FS into his hammer?
