IMO The best cartoon show would be Shin Chan and Aqua teen hunger force... would you want to count anime also? cause i have a shit load of those to post lol

I like Futurama. I've heard it is actually coming back via Comedy Central, but I'm not sure when.

Gargoyles or Batman: The Animated Series. Those were quite dark, dramatic, and action-packed for kids' shows. Except when the Joker was in an episode.
