I beleive Gouki sometimes receives some Overhype (Yes, Shin Remy and Triple Six have been guilty of that, but that was within their first few weeks of posting, and both have calmed down immensly since then.) But to say he gets overrated all the time is very exagerated...
Same with Ryu, he gets troded on very badly by the likes of Sado and Xenogears.
As for this match, I think Oro and Akuma take the majority, simply because they have more power feats... Bison gets killed by either oneof them, and gill takes a days nap vai the Shun Goku Satsu...
Nobody said Victory means permanently killing your opponent. 😛
God and a god are different things.
You see it quite often in fiction. A god is usually a being of limited omnipotence or omniscience. Or theya re simply extremely powerful in some way.
God refers to a completely supreme being beyond defeat which "gods" are not. A good example is the Lord of Nightmares from Slayers.
But in the real world, God and deity are not just titles. They are the reference to otherwordly beings and not simply powerful humans. Well, not in organized religion. Maybe some cut worships a guy as a god but no organized theology does this.
