Are you another person or the same as before?

can you be reprogrammed, ie if someone was total prick before they lost their memory could they, due to interacting with the world become a nice chap.

i think if all of the events which lead to creating my personality were forgotten, i would not know that i was a bitter and quiet person, so i think i could create a new personality for myself.

i would write "Dude, sorry your memory is gone, call ***-**** and ask for Tessa. She'll fix you up in a jiffy. Good luck. P.S. if you start to freak out, smoke this, it helps a lot (arrow pointing to joint and lighter)"
