the Elysium Configuration is not Basic Knowledge so how wood he know? and it wus reabsorbed by hes evil so the good in him is now evil
look at all the movies Followed by HR3 you dont see Captain Elliott Spenser cuz he is now PH ie the good in him wus killd he sacrifices himself to reunite with Pinhead and thus save the world.

Krueger often toyed with his victims by changing his form and surroundings, usually resembling the boiler room where he brought his child victims that had been missing in town. His powers increased as more and more kids believed he existed. At the height of his powers, he could cause severe damage in the real world. This included possession of humans (as shown in the second Nightmare film and Freddy vs Jason) or his corpse (as shown in the third). If one of his victims wakes up while he's fighting them in the dream world, Freddy comes into the real world as well, where he is still superhumanly strong and durable, but can be wounded. This was used for extensive fight scenes in Freddy's Dead and Freddy vs Jason.
In a person's own dream, Krueger could also use their deepest fears and personality against them, which became a trademark in the films. A few victims managed to use their own imagination to consciously manipulate their dreams against him (a technique known as lucid dreaming), but this had little effect on Krueger, who was completely in control of their dreams already. These kids were known as Dream Warriors. Another of Krueger's powers involved absorbing the souls of his victims into his own body after they had been killed, which served to make him more powerful. As he gained a victim, their face would appear on his chest.
By absorbing the souls of his victims, Freddy was now powerful enough to blur the lines between dreams and reality. The remaining adults were kept in a mass psychosis after their children had been murdered.¨

Jason is the physically superior one..however...once Freddy got over his own fear in the real world. He was STILL pwning Jason. Sh*t, had Jason not had help it would have been a wrap for him more than once in that movie.

Freddy actually won in part 6. It was still evident in Freddy vs Jason where the adults tried every trick in the book to try and erase him from existence.
Every time they think they find a weakness (his nun mom, or daughter) he pops up in the next sequel and laughs off his last ¨weakness.¨ Even the dream warriors got pwned.

Actually, Jason would have died had he not received help. Freddy turned Jason into his child self in the dream world causing him to start drowning in the real world.
Letś face it..while the kids feared Jason, they were scared sh*tless of Freddy..to the point that they chose to help Jason and to actively help keep him alive to battle Freddy.

It does make sense though..Freddy always did have the ability to affect adults as well. He just preffered children since he was a sadistic child murderer. Children also tend to scare quicker than adults as to make them a good fast powersource. Being the sadistic bastard that he was...he wanted to make the parents suffer by scaring and killing their children. Adults that found out and tried to battle him usually got pwned... Luckily for them..they weren´t in his direct interest.
