Mageddon vs. Marvel Earth

MAGEDDON!! The cry resounds throughout the universe as the ageless destroyer of the third world rises again. Mageddon is coming, and Marvel Earth must challenge the might of the Anti-sun to survive. No one over Surfer level is present, Dr. Strange is not allowed to directly attack Mageddon, but he can help.

First round: Marvel version of JLA 37. Basically, no prep. Mageddon's evil eyeballs sneak in unbeknowest to people. Assuming they can stop the eyeballs, Mageddon wiil take about 3-5 days to get there after the eyeballs arrive.

Second round: Metron delivers a message detailing Mageddon's powers and abitlities and warning about the eyeballs. They have a year to prepare.

Third round: The Heralds of Galactus, Thanos and several cosmics come to aid Earth.

Fourth round: Same as 3, but they get to prep. (no godly items ala IG.)

It is going to take some plot device to do the trick. WW's Purple Ray is very unique in all of comics and can do pretty much any wierd thing the amazons want it to. It actually took the genetic code of the entire world and made them all Superman lvl beings. And The power from The Wonder Worlder had to be enormous to be able to power a machine that jumped the entire world's evolution by millions of years. Id' say you need Reed Richards and Dr. Strange working on something to come up with something similiar to the purple healing ray, and then you'd need Someone as powerful as Jenny quantum to power the ray. Maybe a full scream from BB into some kind of converter would do the trick.

With a year prep the Illuminati alone probably have the resources, tech and power to orchestrate Mageddon's downfall.

In the first couple of rounds...I don't think anyone is present that could have the strength to turn the wheels of Mageddon, eh?

Thanos, Gladiator..people like that could...in the later rounds.

Marvel could only win in the last two rounds...round four for sure.

the Wonder Worlders had millenia of prep. They just started killing each other before they could use it. 😛

Glimmer runs perpendicular to time. He ran across time and space to the only time that thier was ever a stand against maggeddon. He is the one who had all the prep. WW wouldn't have done it if Not for Glimmer.

Glimmer was a power source nothing more. He didn't prep he just ran off and became a battery.

With a year (or say 15 minutes) the Illuminati can replicate the same feat that WW and Glimmer did.

Actually, did you read the story? Glimmer didnt' run off. It's evident that Glimmer can see in time, and he ran perpendicular to it to the only moment in history. He says this. So this would mean he has the ability to scan all of history and thus has forsight. His prep,>>>>>>any prep anyone else could do. Especially since he can traverse Time and Space, and see the future and past. As for you thinking the Illuminati can come up with something like the purple healing ray in 15 minutes, That laughable. They sure as hell can't help all those mutants get thier powers back. 6 Billion Superman plus lvl beings>>>>>>a few million mutants. So when they get the mutants back thier powers, Let us know.

Actually The Amazons Tech is nearly as Good As The New Gods. The Purple healing Ray is Magical and Technical.

This is hard. Yes, they can probably prep something to take him out. But will they be able to use it before Mageddon turns it's godly TP onto Earth and gets them to destroy themselves?

Marvel's Telepaths are numerous and powerful. The only way they can have a hope is if the telepaths pool thier power as some kind of shielding. I say they pull off a 1/10 win with a plot device. Just like the JLA. becuz barring a plot device, the JLA would have lost.
