In this thread, I will post song lyrics as I compose them. My songs are from the country music genre...and the deal with heartache and love....and sometimes, just plain fun.

The song above, what is whiskey good for, was written after my fiance left me....for some unexplainable reason. she left with no goodbye.

the following song is something that i composed based on things that I told her during our relationship. she said she wanted the same things and always dreamed of having them. I guess it was either a lie...or she wanted them with someone else. I guess I'll never know.

Song is a beautiful form to express poetry through. It places great emphasis on extreme emotions such as sadness or joy. As though the heart of the human were singing. If it is any consolation, people are at times spurred by an emotion with neither warning nor welcome. And is infamous at leaving with the great speed and mystery that it arrived. Why do such impulses drive such people? Where do they come from? Who knows, but they exist, and nothing in life goes accidentally.

I don't know. One thing I know for sure, without such emotions, songs and poetry could not exist. So, I thank God for them.
