don't shiv
Spirit of Tengu
yesterday I was at a venue. The hall was almost full.
seating was *sit where you like* like in a cinema.
a lady was sitting with her child on the space to her left and her pram against the seat to the right
to the right: 1 girl in the aisle seat and 4 places *tagged* with bags jackets and stuff
when like 20 people [including me] walked in things started getting messy the pram was blocking the path between the rows of seats [regulations require children to stay in prams] and the taggers hadn't shown up.
The ushers hands are tied in this matter. they cannot touch private property [someone could sue like where's my 2million carat rolex I left in my wallet or something]
The woman was made to wheel her pram with child into the aile and either stay there or leave her child there and return to her seat.
Around that time I left disgusted.
of course I could have said "ladies why don't you change places" if it wasn't for the fact that the woman waiting for her friends was in ignore mode.
The lady at the beginning of the aisle [who was pretending not to know or have anything to do with the marked seats] should have at least offered the mother the aile seat
a society or economy which values money statistics and regulations above people relationships and ethics will produce all kinds of Tragedies daily
