True, but all of this is wishful thinking. Imagine a pinned thread for a tourny ala Comics vs Forum and you will see where I'm headed. And by the look of things I'm headed no where since only a handful of people have showed any interest.

If you want to o an Tourney thing, it looks like you' have to do it manually (One thread at a time)

Beleive me, I tried to get a similar idea out there when I suggested reviving my old "Battle Royal" threads. No dice on any of em.

Well, just try announcing a character tournament in the off-topic thread or here, and see what type of hype it gets, if it gets enough, post the fights.

I think the rules are too strict. I think that as long as a character at least in some form appeared in a video game they should be allowed. As well as removing the limit of how many fighters can be in any one topic. The 1vs1vs1 rule is idiotic and limits the matches exponentially.

What if 3vs2 is neccesary to make the match more even? Is this forum SO presumptious to think that our minds aren't capable of grasping to concept matches that include more than three people? I think the poilicies are at detriment to the forum itself.

I think you need to actually read the rules through as a 3vs2 match is allowed.

And there is never going to be any chance of the character origination rule budging. Ever. Most the forum regulars would be pissed if it went away anyway. It doesn't limit anything at all, unless you want to keep pitting the same dozen or so characters that are stupidly overused against each other and other characters.
