When the developers were asked this question, they said it was because the PS3 is black in exterior and the 360 is green in emphasis...

So because the PS3 is black(as racial as that sounds) they get Vader.

The 360 having a bright breen backdrop on all things X-Box, will get the green jedi Yoda.

It's a video game! An unrealistic video game, to boot. As far as the Soul Caliber universe is concerned, blocking a lightsaber is perfectly logical.

Perhaps you get Vader if your 360 get the Red Ring of Death while playing SC 4.........

It's an inside joke that a friend of mine keeps saying. He believes Vader is black due to the man's voice. It's become a habit of mine to say that because the PS3 is black. No biggie.
