Old news but it is not surprising, the same technology is used to find you incase of an emergency.

I've heard about this before. However this is the first time I've actually heard a good explanation of how they do it.

From what I know of Fox news this isn't exactly the kind of thing they would lie about. Seeing as it doesn't really put the government in a good light.
