I have a question about "real ending"

In the end Will came back and Elizabeth and their son were waiting for him.
Like it was said before in the movie, Will can come to land only once in 10 years.

So did he just came for one day, to see his son and Elizabeth and did he went back later??

Cause my friend told me that if Elizabeth will still wait for him after 10 years then the curse will disappear, but i think that its not quite right, cause it was said that the Flying Dutchman always needs a captain.

And the only way to get rid of the curse is, to let someone to stab your heart in the locker.
In that case i think that Will would die or something.

And i have read that some people here are saying that there will be 4th movie and that Will is not going to play in this one.

But if he`s immortal, then why and where would he dissappear??

I agree with you, I don't think the curse is broken either, but I read the wiki and it said that because of Elizabeth's fidelity the curse would be broken but I don't think that's right, because Will will still need to ferry souls to the next life and be the dutchmans captain.
