I remember the SNES game Seperation Anxiety that featured co-op with Spidey and Venom. They fought numerous brightly colored symbiotes, with Carnage as the final Big Bad. Thing is, I don't reacall any of those symbiotes showing up in any Spidey comics. Does that mean they're still not allowed?

They do appear in comics actually and I can name all of them for you as well as there relationship to Venom as well as the stories they appear in.
Oh and for an added bonus I can name there hosts as well haermm
The life foundation symbiotes first appeared in the Venom mini seires, Venom leathal protector being the 5 children of Venom designed to protect the wealthy after the MAD fallout, in the comic seperation anxiaty the Symbiotes start to take over there hosts as such they break a now symbiotless Eddie Brock out of a testing lab and ask him to help comunicate with there alien costumes, this is of course before the leader of the group goes insane and begins to kill all of her siblings. The metal one being Scream.
The LF Symbiotes are as followed

Phage Venoms son
Riot Venoms son
The game is based more on the Lethal protector comics then the seperation ones.
