I haven't seen any debates for these guys. And a lot of people here think Cloud is really overrated.

kratos is overrated, not cloud. cloud faced real danger. kratos faced story book danger with a dumber storyline. a demigod who was killed in battle against barbarians, not athenians, barbarians, arises to become the GOD OF WAR( for a duration that lasted between the end of the first game and the opening sequence of the second.) wildly throws 2 chain blades like he has skills.

Dude you made a Kratos vs George. There are quite a few threads involving either Kratos, Dante or both, but Dante's peak was when Gumachi was around.

The barbarians didn't kill him. He was only killed by Zeus and Ares. Show me Kratos missing with his blades or people who are skilled like Ares dodging his blows.

ares gave him cpr to resuscitate his lifeless body.

Seriously, though, just before the barbarian was going to crush Kratos, Ares stopped time and gave Kratos the Blade of Chaos, which he then used to decap the frozen barbarian. He got his ashy skin after he was tricked by Ares to kill his family.
