She thought right alright. Oblivion was a truly massive disappointment to me.

See, this is what I am talking about with the bad taste thing. 131

I love me some Oblivion! Illusion ftw!

Dark Messiah>>>>>>Oblivion

I like the set up of Dark Messiah but its massively linear and you dont have a lot of choices, I also always found that playing a melee class was almost too much easier than it was playing magic or ranged as the mana recharged too slowly and warriors could use all their moves almost all the time.

Original Oblivion was a good game imo, but when you can upgrade it with countless mods, it makes it incredible.

But overall Morriwind was revolutionary.

I liked Oblivion (at first) I'm increasingly getting more jaded towards it now though.

I made a character on Oblivion recently using all of the magics and Archery. It's really fun and if you do the Mages Guild stuff to make your own spells it's just too good.

My first character is an assassin. I'm with the dark brotherhood, and my infamy is > my fame. 😐 I'm a terrible hero.

Morrowind was better IMO.

You could also completely break your character with alchemy, to the point they can clear a continent in a few seconds.

yeah that's one annoying thing about Oblivion, even if you're a villain you still have to save the world.

Technically, you don't HAVE to.

If you wanted, you could run around in caves fist-fighting Ogres the entire game.

Edit: That reminds me...I do not like how everything scales with you in Oblivion. Feel like I accomplish less in Oblivion than in Morrowind because of it, honestly.

Picz plz.

My first Oblivion character was a Warrior with long lasting regeneration spells.

I joined the fighters guild, then tried to kill them all resulting in my joining the dark brotherhood, which ultimately resulted in me having to kill all of those, ironically enough. Then i killed all the gladiators for the sake of it.

I never finished the story on that character =\

I broke my longest running character.

To the point that any spell cast on me was absorbed automatically, and any physical attack reflected back. Also had a broken sword, could kill Jyggalag in like four quick hits.

Hahaha to much fun spreading murder and death all over the place?

More along the lines of i couldn't die, and i didn't have any other skills, so i felt OP. If i had played on the main story i probably would have felt more balanced soon though ;p

For the record, the most powerful being in all of Elder Scrolls is a five foot tall Bosmer named Gaenor.
