I agree. Though I was a little peeved that Scorpion was working for Tsung >__>. Or am I assuming too much. I know he was kind of working for Tsung in "Mortal Kombat: The Journey Begins," which was like a tie-in to the main movie.
Which he did. 131
In the movie on the other hand, Scorpion didn't even pay attention to Sub-zero and was just out to get Johnny Cage because Shang hired him to. Still, that was an awesome fight scene they had for its time (probably my favorite one in the whole movie besides the one with him and Goro ๐ ).
Aside from that though, I also like the Mortal Kombat Conquest series (live action like the movies) during the time it was aired (rewatched the episodes on youtube one time too for nostalgia's sake). That series had my favorite version of Raiden and Tsung. Shao Khan was also pretty cool in that series, surprisingly (he used a sword instead of a hammer), as was Quan Chi.
Did you ever see that show any by any chance?
Wooooo, finished my Design project, just need to turn it in tomorrow and I'm all done for the quarter ๐

^ Project for Design. We were supposed to create a visual interpretation of a poem or quote. I went with this quote.
Discuss. Things to note:
- Film was made in South America, with a budget of $300.
- Creator recently signed a $30 million dollar deal with Sam Raimi's production studios for a motion picture.

๐Yeah. Scorpion never worked for Tsung canonically. Only in the movie and The Journey Begins did he do so. That kinda went against his character because the real (and only) reason he participated in the MK tournament (from the first game anyway) was to avenge the death of his previous life by killing the original Sub-zero..
Which he did. 131
Yeah, him working for Tsung sucked big-time imo. Journey Begins was quite hilarious. 3D CGI-esque fight sequences, and traditionally animated non-fight sequences (in most cases) ๐
Ya think I don't know what my fave character did to the man who killed him 313? I just wish the elder SZ didn't come back as Noob Saibot. Though I wonder if NS and Scorpion ever fought hmm
That "look into my eyes comment" reminds me of Ghost Rider...

True that. Cage can kick a**, but he's the comic relieflaughing.

I was quite young when that show was airing where I'm at. So I only remember bits and pieces. I wanted to watch the episodes online, but something either comes up, or I forget.

And yeah, I agree with what you said about the elder SZ. Don't think he should've come back as Saibot either (I liked it better for some reason when Saibot used to be thought of as a different character entirely before he was revealed to be the elder SZ in Deception).

Unlike the movies, the final fight of that series still gives me some chills to this day. Must be the epic music.
