I don't think his body was slashed by Ganon, but I do remember him jumping higher than Ganon is tall and cutting him down the middle.

Though those manga's had quite a few flaws to Link.. trying to remember them.

They weren't canon anyway.

I know but sometimes manga adaptations give a good insight to the character.

Nidoking could use a better natural movepool.
