Lego SW IS a better game.

But maybe that's because I like my Star Wars games to be true to the movies and not blow everything out of proportion.

Force Destroy Droid. What the **** was that shit?!

Fun. I liked Lego SW until it bored the crap out of me. I liked the fun twist it gave to the SW saga, but come on the game is not great by any means in my opinion.

With KOTOR at least you had the choice to customize your party. Your decisions affected the game and even changed your appearance, and the story was not a rehash for a change. It also had a nice plot twist thrown in the mix. The game is not perfect, but it offers more than Lego SW IMO.

Lego Star Wars is incredibly inaccurate. 90% of the final Anakin vs. Obi-Wan battle involved Anakin and Obi-Wan HELPING each do weak shit like hop across stones and stuff.

Lame.

LOL.

Lego SW true to SW? LOLMAOMFG! No. Since when is Jar Jar better at jumping than a Jedi Master? Also, what was up with Anakin and Obi Wan helping eachother on the final fight? That was bullshit. Also, EU is canon, alot of those quotes you showed me to prove me wrong were only half-finished, which also means KOTOR is canon.

Actually your decisions in the game didn't really effect things nearly as much as it seemed. And everything was far too black or white - you were either totally evil or totally good. There was no room for grey-area manipulation, which is a part of the dark side as well.

KOTOR was mediocre, good at best. The second was downright boring.

By accurate I mean in terms of powers. The PT is the golden age of the Jedi, Lucas himself said so. Meaning that was them at their strongest. KOTOR was far too overpowered and had some really ridiculous powers - as pointed out, Force Destroy Droid.

EU is not canon. Get over it.

Which is good, as 90% of EU is unadulterated shit.

Which is why Jar Jar can outjump Jedi and none of the Jedi could block blaster bolts while fighting?Lego Star wars is actually more retarded then KOTOR ever was.

EU is canon as long as it doesn't contradict the movies. Get over it.

There's two different continuities, V2D. EU is EU+ George Lucas' stuff. GL's continuity is just his stuff. GL's stuff is the man, main canon.

If you like playing the SW saga over and over again then fine by me. But you cannot simply say KOTOR is mediocre at best because it didn't develop a grey area. How biased is that? Praise Lego SW because it makes you play the same story AGAIN and then say KOTOR is mediocre? Come on, ma'am. The second KOTOR game had lots of issues. Quite in fact they should have never done it, but meh I guess the milky cow was too fat.

Lego Star Wars bored me so much that I didn't even bother renting the 2nd game to play the prequel saga.

Sure, if you suck at the game...I never had a problem doing it.

Except that's not true. At all. Try taking a look at this as it's better explained than I ever could try to.

EU is canon so long as it does not contradict George Lucas' stuff. Once it does you have to go by Lucas' stuff.

"When it comes to absolute canon, the real story of Star Wars, you must turn to the films themselves—and only the films. Even novelizations are interpretations of the film, and while they are largely true to George Lucas' vision (he works quite closely with the novel authors), the method in which they are written does allow for some minor differences. The novelizations are written concurrently with the film's production, so variations in detail do creep in from time to time. Nonetheless, they should be regarded as very accurate depictions of the fictional Star Wars movies."-Chris Cerasi, Editor for LucasBooks

In other words, if it does not contradict with the movie, it is canon.

I actually played KOTOR long before I played Lego SW. And there's a lot of stuff about KOTOR that made it mediocre. Crap gameplay, uninspired plot, predictable twist, was far too easy, etc.

And a lot of people say KOTORII wasn't as good because of the ending. Well...sure, that might be so, but frankly that game was flawed from the start. The plot was near-identical and I was bored to tears of it less than a quarter of the way through.

Considering that I can count on one hand the number of people on KMC who are bigger fans of SW than I am, that's saying something.

How does that say it's canon?

It says they can be considered accurate. That doesn't mean canon.

It in fact specifically says, by stating that for true canon you must go to the movies and only the movies, that it's NOT canon.

YouTube video

"Canon refers to an authoritative list of books that the Lucas Licensing editors consider an authentic part of the official Star Wars history. Our goal is to present a continuous and unified history of the Star Wars galaxy, insofar as that history does not conflict with, or undermine the meaning of Mr. Lucas's Star Wars saga of films and screenplays." -Sue Rostoni

I can get more quotes if you really want to drag this on.

I will stop arguing with you about KOTOR being mediocre because I am well aware that is your point of view and you will keep it up no matter what.

But let me tell you this if KOTOR is mediocre Lego Star Wars is Bantha shit IMO.

KOTOR 2 is shit for many reasons. The game felt unfinished. Many things were left out. It did not add any interesting things to KOTOR's gameplay. The graphics were not as impressive as KOTOR's IMO. It had an interesting villain get flushed. The other committed suicide. Many of the plots involving your party were simply ignored among many other problems. So yeah I do not think it sucks because it had a lame ending.

Saying you are among the biggest SW fans on KMC proves nothing I am afraid, ma'am.

With that said I'm dropping this conversation.
