Now that's badass.
Yeah.. The story is fascinating, but I'll give you the brief one..
Ner'Zhul was previously a shaman.. A horribly smart and powerful shaman, and one of the most powerful mortals that ascended in title.. He had sworn loyalty to the burning legion, which is a legion of demons with powerful leaders and amazing numbers..
He one day deserted the legion, walking his own path.. The leader at that time was Kil'Jaeden.. Kil'Jaeden didn't approve.. And in short, he threatened to destroy Ner'Zhul into nothing but dust..
Ner'Zhul had planned for Kil'Jaeden to come after him, in all his fury and anger.. Ner'Zhul then started talking, and he talked his way out of what was a 100% traitory, into being taken back to the legion with increased powers..
As a punishment, he was caged in the Frozen throne.. He ruled the scourge from a frozen throne, incapable of moving.. However, Kil'Jaeden underestimated the mortal man and his own spell, as Ner'Zhul feeded upon powers from Kil'Jaeden.. Beyond what Kil'Jaeden ever expected.. His intentions was to increase his powers enough for him to rule the scourge, I believe.. However, the powers of Ner'Zhul rose over tenthousand times, and even though he was caged, he grew to be the most powerful being on Azeroth.. The Lich King..
Who is now freed, and stronger than ever..
Kil'Jaeden got imprisoned somewhere along the years that Ner'Zhul was imprisoned.. He has no idea that he created a demi-God by providing him a little power.. ((Which turned out to be a lot))
Which is why I like the Lich King so much.. He fooled the commander in charge of the burning legion.. A mere mortal fooled the commander of the most powerful army in the Warcraft universe..
Yeah.. Considering Kil'Jaeden is truly intelligent.. It's quite impressive of the mortal to being able to pull it trough.. Not only did he desert the army, but was taken back and given immense powers..
And dont take this the wrong way.. Kil'Jaeden is very smart, very powerful and very badass.. He was just outsmarted..
By a mortal..
Bigtime..
Still, Kil'Jaeden is a very powerful character..

I have my clear doubts, but wont bother argue..Archimonde would WTFPWNS Nihilus though..

Merits, merits, merits.. Kil'Jaeden enslaved the entire dreadlord race to his cause..
As I said, I wont argue.. If you wish to believe Nihilus wins, go ahead.. I give in..
