Edit: I can never play FF7 or FF9. The closest I ever got to playing one was considering FF13.

Multiple reasons.

1. I have no way to play them.
2. I have no interest in them.
3. I flat out don't want to.
4. I've never heard anything about a character I might consider cool. If there is one, it probably isn't the main so that would irritate me. A small irritation wouldn't be enough to prevent me from trying it out, but this combined with everything else would.
5. Abnormally large weapons piss me off.
