Legend of Zelda has expired way before Resident Evil and I'm surprised nobody has noticed.

It's the other way around. RE only had 3 great games while Zelda has a couple of them that I normally see in many top game lists.

The only RE game that I would even consider tops is RE4.

Could care less if it sold well. Crap sells well all the time. Popularity means nothing in how good a game is.

Dun't get me wrong, RE5 is fun. But for a RE game, it's shit.

I enjoy this comparison.

The only thing I could add is that for some reason people think RE should sell for as much as some Zelda games.

Edit: I liked the Justice store pic, haha.

But now I spell it "JUSTICE!". The punctuation is part of the spelling.

Dude, atleast half the RE games out there are shit. RE in general has a mediocre, now poor story thanks to RE5. All the characters are pretty bland and uninteresting (Wesker was raped, thx RE5), the gameplay, while fun, is nothing to t3h LoZ, and must I bring up it's laughable dialogue?

I love RE man, but not enough to claim it's better then a series like LoZ.

The only shitty Resident Evil games I'm aware of are the ones on the Gameboy and there weren't that many.

A mediocre and poor story? BS! What was the plot in most of the LoZ games? Oh, now I remeber: Ganondorf kidnaps princess Zelda and he attempts to conquer Hyrule, go on a long ass journey just to stop him. Unlike LoZ, Resident Evil's story line goes in different directions that doesn't have similar plots.

I think you accidentally mixed something up. It's the LoZ characters that are bland and uninteresting while the RE cast is full of awesome. I do agree with you that it was gay for Capcom to let Wesker get killed off.

Nah. I find the gameplay in Resdent Evil to be somewhat more entertaining.

You fool. Link is mute and when people talk, there's no voice coming out, just words in boxes and you're saying LoZ has better dialouge than RE? 🤣

Yeah, Link standing there looking like an idiot in tp when people are talking to him while he makes a cute smile made me sick. I was like say something you idiot.

Not having written dialogue eliminates the possibility for shit lines. I hear bad things about RE dialogue.

I think its great that they're keeping Link silent, has a unique retro feel to it.

I'm fine with mute Link.

But as the main hero he needs to speak. Kain had great lines in legacy of kain. I do think with a re it definitely has the feel of going cheesey easier than these other games.

hat's what ran me off dmc years ago how stupid and corny the characters became.

DMC's mediocrity in general after the awesome first game is what ran me off. But yeah, hated the dialogue too.

The only Resident Evil game with possibly bad dialoge would be RE1 (not the REmake, the original). Although even bad, the dialouge gave people some good lols. "Oh my KHAWD!!!" and who can forget this classic line, "You were almost a Jill sandwich." All the other dialouges in the RE games after 1 are great.

Agreed. The first game was so awesome and then it got terrible and did so very quickly. I beat two with dante and never played through with the woman despite it being an easy game it just sucked. I never played 3 and bought 4 and played it once.

You like RPGs Quan?

DMC 3 is the best of the series.

I did. I am sure I still do I was looking at what game to get into next. It all started with me with dante's inferno. I was debating whether to read comics that day or play the game I decided that day I am going to beat it and around 5 am in the morning I did so.

I then went through each god of war from week to week in 3 weeks time as I played them.

I then went out and bought a wii for zelda. I wasn't impressed at all but still loved Ganondorf and it brought out the nostalgia of the series for me.

Those are the 5 games I have beaten this year and prior to this the last game I was obsessed over was LOK Defiance. It's been a long time.

I played and loved ff2 and 3 when I was a kid and loved sword of vermilion on genesis when I was a kid.

I bought nier and was going to set my sights on it next but when I heard of oot I had to go for that.

I am tempted by Dragon Age as it looks awesome from the back of the box though and have heard good things.

I love swords and magic set in medieval times what should I be into after oot?

I always thought dante's brother was cool. Is it compatible with the ps3?

LoZ is like Mario with a different skin. The plots seem awfully similar. Princess gets captured, go on a quest to save her, encounter the bad guy, kick his ass, and the princess is saved.

You like swords and magic, then why not try Legend of Dragoon for PS1 if you haven't already done so?

Great RPG, the story is excellent and really picks up quickly after DISC 1.
