Some games need to have a plot like L4D's. You wonder what the heck happened at the place you're at and wonder how the enemies came to be as they are and you solve them by checking your surroundings. The only reason people get tired of some games is because they know right away what's going on in the game and when the game doesn't leave you questioning, that's when things get dull.
Seriously guys, this is perhaps the problem you see in most games.

Dead Space.
my biggest problem with games is that im not a fan of storylines that require you to go for like an hour without some kind of plot movement. games like bioshock and half-life 2 are great examples of this. you spend the majority of the game running through a near empty level slaughtering henchmen all by yourself for the most part, and then once you reach a check point theres like two minutes of dialogue, then its back to running around by yourself killing generic henchmen.
meh, just not my type of game. i need more interaction. like, actual people with me talking smack and stuff. also not a fan of figuring out the story through clues found in-game like letters and auditapes and the like.

Speaking of Dead Space, should the animated movie Dead Space Downfall be canon? 'Cause there's obviously a huge error seen near the end. In the movie, the Marker keeps Necromorphs away from it but in the game, the Necromorphs are close enough to touch it.
**** the movie, as it wrecks the mystery of Dead Space.
