No. Being young means you don't know shit. You are young, inexperienced, and unlearned. As you grow up and mature, you will realize how little you knew back when you thought you knew everything, and eventually will realize how little you know, period. That's part of growing up.

No, someone who is older isn't necessarily smarter, but this isn't about that. It has nothing to do with it at all. It's about the fact that someone who is younger has less in the way of life experiences, and generally hasn't yet realized that the world does not work the way they want it to.
Experience, wisdom, and learning have nothing to do with intelligence and being smart.
